Our
research for Tian Xian finally brought us to some
clinical studies conducted on rats, mice and cats.
Below
is an overview of those studies conducted. The tests
were made to find out whether Tian Xian has any side-effects
on chemotherapy and radiotherapy and if yes, in which
way.
Since we are convinced that this question is highly
interesting for anyone who is willing to take Tian
Xian Liquid, we felt free enough to publish the whole
article in its entire at another page.
How well does Tian Xian combine with chemotherapy
or radiotherapy and how toxic is Tian Xian?

Abstract:
Tian Xian Liquid is an anti-cancer Chinese medicine
based on eliminating the pathogenic factor. The clinical
tests conducted for studying of toxicology, pharmacology,
treating carcinoma of esophagus, stomach cancer and
other tumor within China covered a total of thirty
medical organizations from 1984 to 1996. The results
showed that Tian Xian Liquid was a safe and effective
anti-cancer medicine which had not influence and damage
to peripheral red blood cell, white blood cell, blood
platelet, heart, liver and kidney etc. important organs
even taken for high dosage, long term; It had apparent
cytotoxic action and radioactive enhanced sensitivity,
extensive anti-cancer and high inhibition as 40~89.1%
to various tumor cells and affected cell cycle and
DNA synthesis. 1600 clinical cases had been observed:
those final stomach cancer and carcinoma of esophagus
sufferers who had lost the chance of surgery, radiotherapy
and chemotherapy or relapse sufferers were given Tian
Xian Liquid alone(696 cases), the results indicated
that full relief rate, partial relief rate and stable
rate were 2.6%, 9.3%, 77.2% respectively. The swallowing
difficulty and pain by carcinoma of esophagus were
lightened after taking Tian Xian Liquid. Tian Xian
Liquid was taken in combination with radiotherapy
to treat the carcinoma of esophagus (725 cases), combination
with chemotherapy to treat the carcinoma of esophagus
(131 cases), the results showed that the full relief
rate is respectively improved 28.3%, 25% combining
with radiotherapy (P<0.01) and chemotherapy (P<0.05).
Through the study to tumor samples of carcinoma of
esophagus sufferers taking Tian Xian Liquid before
operation on histopathology and immunopathology of
ultrastructure under electron microscope, we observed
the result which the reaction of internal and external
lymphocyte of cancer nests and macrophagocyte had
enhanced apparently. Cancer cell nucleus and cell
organ have happened apparently degeneration and necroses.
This showed the medicine can be applied intensively
to treat both final cancer patients and synergist
of radiotherapy and chemotherapy or to prevent relapse
and transference after operation.
Tian
Xian Liquid is developed by the researcher Wang Zhen
Guo, who is a president of Tong Hua Changbai Mountain
Pharmaceutical Institute of Jilin Province in China.
This medicine was tested early or late on a large
number of toxicology, pharmacology at home and abroad
covered a total of 30 medical units such as NCI of
USA, Chinese Medical Research Institute of China,
Tian Jin Medical Pharmaceutical Science Institute.
The results showed that Tian Xian Liquid's dispensing
is reasonable with intensive anti-cancer action and
no obvious toxic and side effects. It is a better
new anti-cancer.
Tian
Xian Liquid's Dispensing Characteristics:
Tian Xian Liquid has the action of clearing away heat
and toxic materials, promoting blood circulation to
stop pain, invigorating qi and enriching the blood
to reach the goal " Expulsion of the pathogen;
not harmful to the vital-energy. Cultivation of the
vital-energy; not helping the pathogen " Most
of natural herbal medicines in the drug come from
Changbai Mountain. These medicines grew in no pollution
area's land containing plentiful SeGe, therefore its
value were high. The medicine was made of natural
herbal medicines such as Radix Trichosanthis, Radix
Clematidis, Radix Ginseng, Radix Astragali seu Hedysari,
Polyporus Umbellatus, Herba Hedyotis Diffusae, Radix
Glycyrrhizae etc.
